As members of Brookwood there are several easy ways each of us can help earn money for our church. We all grocery shop and many of us are regular customers at Staples. We get newspapers and magazines, and often eat out with groups of friends. We urge you to take a look at the ways you can help make money for our church and choose those that work for you.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Meijer: There are 3 ways to enroll in this Community Rewards Program:

1. Go to any Meijer store and fill out an application giving them our ID number

2. Call 1-800-962-7011 to be registered. Give them our ID number

3. Register on line at meijer.com/rewards and give them our ID number

Brookwood’s ID number is 705356

You will be given a Community Rewards Card. If you already have a Meijer Credit Card follow one of the above procedures to have our ID number added to it. If you pay by Debit Card or cash just show them your Community Rewards Card at that time.  Brookwood will receive 1% of purchases made on a Meijer Credit Card and .5% for those made any other way. When $100 in credits accrue the church will receive a check which goes into the General Fund.

 

Kroger: A new rewards program started May 1. Pick up one of the Kroger fact sheets in the Fireside Room and take it, along with your Kroger Plus Card to one of the stores where they will scan the bar code on the fact sheet onto your Plus Card.  It is possible for us to earn up to $1250 quarterly. Monies received will go into the church’s General Fund.

 

STAPLES :

At checkout when you are asked if you have a Staples Reward Card tell them you want your purchase credited to Brookwood Church. You MUST give them the church phone number for our account to be credited. Keep that number in your purse or wallet – 235-3451.

There are two ways to generate credits for our church:

1) Purchases of ink, paper and copy center services will earn us 10% each quarter. All other purchases will be tracked and coupons for the most purchased items will be mailed to the church.

2) Ink cartridges (any brand) and toners will generate a credit of $3.00 each up to a maximum of 10.

At the end of each quarter Brookwood will receive a Rewards Card check which can be spent at Staples for church office supplies, etc. Monies received will go into the General Fund.

 

 

NEWSPAPERS:

Newspapers, magazines, catalogues (no cardboard) can be put into the bin in the east parking lot. This is a money-making project of our Worship Ministry Unit.

We urge you to participate in these programs and enlist other family members and friends to participate also.
